Prices(as of 2026)
  • Fine Tuning
    • $ 150.00
    • This requires the instrument to be 8 to 10 cents within standard pitch (most tunings will fall within this).
      As with most of our services, minor repairs and adjustments are considered part of the service. Any issues that would require charges would be discussed beforehand.

  • Pitch Raises / Pitch Stabilization
    • $ 75.00
    • If a piano's pitch has drastically moved flat or sharp (usually from lack of servicing - but there can be other causes) they will not hold a tuning. Pitch Stabilization gets the piano close enough for a tuning. In rare situations more than one may be required but the technician would discuss this beforehand.

  • Repair
    • An inspection may be required (see Inspections below, and note the credit towards work). You can request a general quote by our Contacting Us page.

  • Regulation
    • An inspection may be required (see Inspections below, and note the credit towards work). You can request a general quote by our Contacting Us page.

  • Reconditioning
    • An inspection may be required (see Inspections below, and note the credit towards work). You can request a general quote by our Contacting Us page.

  • Rebuilding
    • An inspection may be required (see Inspections below, and note the credit towards work). You can request a general quote by our Contacting Us page.

  • Finish Touch-Up , Refinishing, Cabinet Repair
    • An inspection may be required (see Inspections below, and note the credit towards work). You can request a general quote by our Contacting Us page.

  • Piano Moving
    • Piano moving fees are unique to each move. Please see our Piano Moving Service page. You may request a quote through our Contacting Us page.

  • Inspection Estimates
    • $ 150.00
    • A thorough inspection serves multiple purposes.
      - If you are considering an instrument purchase our inspection can help you find issues you may not have known, which can save a customer many hundreds of dollars.
      - Inspections are generally required for services such as regulation, reconditioning, repairs, refinishing, etc.. In these situations 30% of the inspection fee is credited towards any work we perform within 2 months of the inspection.

  • Appraisals Estimate
    • $ 150.00
    • We can give our professional opinion of the market or insurance value of an instrument after an inspection. If we are contracted to sell the instrument the appraisal fee is rolled into the agreed upon consignment agreement.

  • Other Services

Payment Plans:

To help make more expensive services cost effective for our customers, Parks & Sons may offer no-interest payment plans. Generally such plans will be noted on estimates for service work. Parks & Sons Piano Service does reserve the right to offer or deny these payment plans to customers for any reason.


Discount and Credits:

All discounts and credits have no monetary value other than when applied to actual service charges. Parks & Sons Piano Service reserves the sole right to apply discounts or credits in any other method. Customers who are deemed by Parks & Sons Piano Service to be "dormant" may have any credits or discounts recorded in their accounts zeroed out. Parks & Sons Piano Service reserves the sole right to determine such a customer status, but in general a customer who does not receive routine service for 2 or more consecutive years becomes "dormant".


All Services:

Parks & Sons Piano Service reserves the sole right to provide or deny any services for any reason. Parks & Sons Piano Service will not be required to provide any explanations or reasons for denial of service.
